CRP’s Annual General Meetings

Community Rail Lancashire’s four constituent Community Rail Partnerships (CRPs) have all now  held the Annual General Meeting of their Management Groups.

All four CRPs were re-accredited by the Department for Transport at the end of 2020 and as an ongoing part of that process each CRP must re-elect officers and each Chair presents an annual report. Each CRPs Action Plan for the next twelve months is also approved at the meeting and the latest version of these plans can be seen on links at the bottom of this news item.

The Joint Clitheroe Line & East Lancashire CRPs – 22 April 2021

This meeting saw Marjorie Birch, who had been Vice Chair for over ten years and Chair for the last three years standing down from office. The election of officers saw Vice Chair Melanie Taylor nominated for the post of Chair and elected unanimously. Richard Watts, Chair of CRL, continues as Secretary for the partnership. The post of Vice Chair remains vacant.

The South Fylde Line CRP – 6 May 2021

There were no changes to the officers at this AGM with Tony Ford, Chair; Vince Settle, Vice Chair and Richard Watts, Secretary all re-elected nem com.

The West of Lancashire CRP – 14 April 2021

Again, this CRP saw no changes to the officers with Marion Atkinson, Chair; Peter Hillsdon, Vice Chair and Richard Watts, Secretary all re-elected nem com.
