The Community Rail Lancashire Guided Walks Programme for the rest of winter and into spring has been published.
The walks are all led by experienced leaders from the Lancashire Rail Ramblers and the walks vary from an easy 7 miles through to a moderate 10 miles. There are normally two walks each month and these start and end at railway stations on the community rail lines across Lancashire.
You can download the current programme by visiting this page communityraillancashire.co.uk/walks/guided-walks/ on the website, by clicking on this link Community Rail Lancashire Guided Walks (February 2026 to July 2026) or by clicking on the image above.
The Lancashire Rail Ramblers also run a separate programme of guided walks often slightly further afield but still by using the train to get to the starting point. Their current programme can be downloaded here: Lancashire Rail Ramblers Guided Walks January ’26 to June ’26
