The Lancashire Rail Ramblers summer 2026 guided walks programme for the Yorkshire Dales Explorer Saturday service between Rochdale, East Lancashire, the Ribble Valley and Ribblehead has be finalised and the new programme can be downloaded on this link: YDE Guided Walks Summer 2026
ALL THE WALKS IN THE PROGRAMMES ARE BASED ON USING THE FIRST YORKSHIRE DALES EXPLORER OUTWARD SERVICE AND THE LAST RETURN SERVICE AND/OR LOCAL SERVICES ON THE SETTLE-CARLISLE & CLITHEROE LINES.
There are also some guided walks from now and until September 2026, led by volunteers from the Friends of the Settle Carlisle Line (FoSCL) and the Friends of DalesRail (FDR), that are accessible by using the Yorkshire Dales Explorer service.
