High Scenic Route with Vistas Galore
This walk starts at Giggleswick station and finishes at Long Preston station. The walk is graded moderate and is 9 kilometres (5.6 miles) and should take about 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Cross the valley of the River Ribble, and view Pen-y-Ghent, before climbing above the Bentham Line to take in the panoramic views to the south including Pendle Hill (witch country). Descend into the well-named village of Long Preston, with its traditional May Day celebrations around the maypole.
