Ancient Routes and Medieval Places
This walk starts at Wennington station and finishes at Bentham station. The walk is graded moderate and is 6.3 kilometres (3.9 miles) and should take about 2 hours 20 minutes.
Walk above the beautiful valley of the Wenning, past ancient mining sites and hall, before descending to the peaceful riverbank to enjoy the wildlife and perhaps picnic.
Finally, heading up stream to Bentham and its traditional shops, inns and cafés.
