A Short Hop, Skip and Jump
This walk starts at Long Preston station and finishes at Hellifield station. The walk is graded easy and is 6 kilometres (3.8 miles) and should take about 2 hours.
From Long Preston, a village with many listed buildings, pass along tracks edged with traditional dry-stone walls and through farms, to enter the Midland Railway town of Hellifield, finishing at the magnificent listed station.
