Please note that anyone wishing to visit Ribblehead Visitor Centre for a cuppa this weekend it will be cash only due to a payment machine failure.

The Yorkshire Dales Explorer (YDE) this Saturday is offering two guided walks led by the Volunteers from the Lancashire Rail Ramblers. Details of the two walks can be seen below:

Nappa Cross looking to Malham Tarn – John Barnes

Walk 1 is a moderately strenuous C walk of 13 miles – Alight and return Settle.
Settle – Pennine Bridleway – Jubilee Cave – Gorbeck – Streets – Malham Tarn House – Lings Plantation – Langscar Gate – Nappa Cross – Stockdale Lane – Attermire – Settle.

Walk 2 is an easy E walk of 8.5 miles – Alight and return Settle.
Settle – Brockhole Lane – Hoyman Laithe – High Mearbeck Farm – Hunter Bark – Lambert Lane – Sugar Loaf Hill – Victoria Cave – Clay Pits Plantation – Pennine Bridleway – Settle.

The guided walks are based on using the first outward YDE service arriving Settle at 10:01 and departing on the second return train leaving Settle at 18:21.
