The Blues Train To Colne Rhythm & Blues Festival

Friday 23rd August saw Community Rail Lancashire in partnership with Northern & Colne Town Council running a music train from Blackpool South to Colne to open the Blues Festival.

Rik Enty and Jonny nice played throughout the journey from Blackpool to Colne and entertained the passengers with their raw blues music.

The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival took over the centre of Colne for the bank holiday weekend with over 170 acts appearing on 22 stages. The weather held up and a great time was had by all – go to www.bluesfestival.co.uk to see all the fun.
