South Fylde Line CRDF Success

The South Fylde Line Community Rail Partnership (SFLCRP) is pleased to be able to announce that it has been successful in securing a grant from the Community Rail Development Fund (CRDF). This funding is only available to those CRPs that have received accreditation from the Department for Transport.

The grant of £2460 will see the popular series of self guided walks leaflets updated and reprinted, along with a new generic poster. The four leaflets can be seen in the images below and will be available from St. Anne’s-on-the-Sea booking office and local tourist information offices once the printing is completed and the new poster will be installed at stations along the South Fylde Line and also along neighbouring lines.

Simon Clarke, a Community Rail Development Officer with Community Rail Lancashire, is working on the editing of the original documents and the redesign and printing will be arranged by Source Creative a local design company.

The Community Rail Development Fund is a source of funding from the Department for Transport and managed by the Community Rail Network and is available to accredited CRPs to further develop community rail across the country.
