SFLCRP Funding Grant Success

St. Anne’s Town Council yesterday agreed to give a grant of £1,500 to the South Fylde Line CRP.

An approach to the Town Council was made by CRP Chairman Tony Ford and at yesterday’s council meeting the Town Council have agreed to award a grant of £1,500 to the CRP. The money will be earmarked for projects at St. Anne’s-on-the-Sea and Squires gate stations, both of which sit in the town council’s area.

Coupled with the recent formation of a new Friends of Stations group, the news about the grant will give a boost in helping to involve the local community with the South Fylde Line, which has government designation as a community rail line.
