Works are due to start on Monday 9th May 2022 on the access ramp to platform 1 at Accrington station.
Northern Railways are carrying out the work after a successful bid into the Department for Transport’s mid tier Access for All schemes. Implementation was delayed by the Covid pandemic but work will start on 9th May 2022.
Passengers requiring PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) access are advised to use Burnley Manchester Road or Blackburn stations whilst this work is carried out. For assistance, please speak to a member of station staff or contact Passenger Assist on 0800 138 5560.
