This is a reminder about the significant engineering works taking place at Manchester Piccadilly from Saturday 14 February to Sunday 22 February 2026, as part of Network Rail’s essential £7.9m upgrade to the station’s southern approach.
These improvements are vital to strengthening reliability and performance and to deliver the work safely, Platforms 1–12 will be closed throughout the nine‑day period, with amended timetables, diversions, and rail replacement services in place. A limited westbound service will continue to operate from platforms 13 & 14.
