Sunday 12th February, the final evening of the Blackpool Film Festival, saw the film about the famous Dick, Kerr Ladies football team ‘Granny’ being shown to a nearly full house audience of around 100 people.

The film featuring one of the Preston’s famous women’s football team, the Dick Kerr Ladies, was funded through Avanti West Coast’s Community Fund and premiered at Preston North End during 2022. The photograph shows Steve Bolton who is the grandson of one of the Dick, Kerr Ladies, along with cast members and Michelle Crane the script writer.
