The South Fylde Line Community Rail Partnership (SFLCRP), Community Rail Lancashire (CRL) and Northern Trains are delighted to announce the setting up of the new Northern Railway’s volunteer group the ‘Friends of Blackpool Pleasure Beach Station’.
It’s thanks to the support of the local community that Blackpool Pleasure Beach Station will be tended to by the friends group. This includes planting and looking after to the floral and greenery displays in the planters and helping to keep the station free from litter. If anyone is interested in meeting and joining the eight strong group, then it’s a chance to make a positive difference to a well used station, especially during the summer months and when the Blackpool lights are on and meeting new people too.
