The recent Clitheroe Food Festival saw train strengthening on the Clitheroe Line.
Saturday August 8th 2015 saw the sun shining and 20,000 people descend on Clitheroe for its annual food festival. Northern Rail strengthened the trains between Manchester and Clitheroe from two carriages to four making the journey for those that travelled by train much more comfortable.
Festival organiser Julie Whalley has asked; “please could you pass on our sincerest thanks to all your team, for the superb support you gave to Clitheroe Food Festival this year. Crowds exceeded expectation once again and we were thrilled that so many people were coming in on the trains”.
