The blockades to finish the work at Farnworth Tunnel have been announced. Two weekend closures will see the project completed by the end of January 2016.
Farnworth Tunnel will be closed to traffic over two weekends 23rd – 24th January and 30th – 31st January and this will see the redevelopment of the tunnel complete. Trains will be amended, diverted or replaced by bus services and a full timetable will be available from 11th January 2016 .
