The Department for Transport (DfT) has been hosting a number of events across the country called ‘Civil Service Live’.
The purpose of the events has been to introduce civil servants in different areas of responsibility and different parts of the country to the work of other departments. The DfT has concentrated on community rail and has produced a short video of the work that CRPs do across the country, particularly the work of volunteers. Some Community Rail Lancashire stations feature in the video including Clitheroe and Huncoat.
