Four of the stations along the Bentham Line have been designated as Gateways to the Forest of Bowland. Wennington, Bentham, Clapham and Giggleswick are all on the edge of the Forest and have access on foot and by cycling.
A new leaflet, Forest of Bowland AONB, The Bentham Line Gateway Stations, has been produced as part of the existing Rail to Trail series and will be available to pick up from the stations shortly. The leaflet can be downloaded as a PDF by clicking this link: Bowland Gateway Stations.

At each gateway station an information panel has been installed (see above) along with leaflet racks and a poster. Details of the walking and cycling opportunities can be found on the Forest of Bowland website at www.forestofbowland.com/bentham-line and an example of the poster can be seen below.
