Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Church & Oswaldtwistle have been hard at work at their local station improving the appearance of the station for people waiting for trains.
The volunteers have held working parties each Saturday morning for the last twelve months and work has included; clearing the platform areas of weeds, applying a weed suppressant, cleaning the waiting shelters, planting up existing flower tubs and painting hand rails and shelters.
