Today saw the first public timetabled train to run round the restored Todmorden West Curve. The 08:18 Blackburn to Manchester Victoria via Todmorden became the first of a regular seven day a week train service to run along the newly restored piece of track.
The service runs from Blackburn to Manchester Victoria calling at Accrington, Rose Grove, Burnley Manchester Road, Todmorden, Walsden, Littleborough, Smithy Bridge, Rochdale, Castleton, Mills Hill & Moston. The service also calls at Church & Oswaldtwistle on Sundays only.
