MEET PLATFORM PETE!
We’ve got a new member of the Community Rail Lancashire team… and he’s certainly dressed for the job!
Platform Pete is our entry into the Hyndburn Connected Great Scarecrow Hunt and you can find him keeping watch over the Accrington Eco Station garden for the next week.
Pete is looking very smart in his Northern uniform and, following Stanleys fantastic 5–0 away win at the weekend, he’s proudly wearing his Accrington Stanley scarf!
But Pete isn’t just there to look good…
He’s helping us spread some important railway safety messages
He’s keeping an eye on our Eco Garden
And children visiting Pete can pop into the station ticket office during opening hours to pick up a FREE Arlo’s Adventures rail safety book!
Pete has already battled some pretty wild autumn weather
but he’s still standing strong!
Can you help Platform Pete win the Great Scarecrow Hunt?

And if you’re passing through Accrington Station this week, why not pop by the Eco Garden and say hello?
Good luck, Pete!
