Saturday 9th April saw Church & Oswaldtwistle Rotary Club carrying out their annual ‘spring clean’ at the station. Assisted by some friends of Rotary a group of 10 spent the day litter picking along the 1.5 mile greenway path from Church & Oswaldtwistle station to Accrington station.
Time was also spent clearing rubbish from behind the difficult to access perimeter fence on the Accrington bound platform. The results are nothing short of amazing.
