Get ready to get your walking boots on as Saturday 9th October sees the resumption of the guided walks prepared for Community Rail Lancashire by the Lancashire Rail Ramblers. The short programme of six walks runs from 9th October to 14th December 2021.
The walks all start and finish at railway stations along either the East Lancashire Line (Preston to Colne) or the Clitheroe Line (Manchester to Clitheroe). The walks vary in length between 7 & 10 miles and from easy to moderate. The first walk on 9th October starts at Colne (10:06) and finishes at Nelson and is a moderate 9 miles.
