Monday 6th April 2020 has seen a new name join the community rail world.
Ever since the start of the community rail movement across the country the umbrella organisation that has looked after the community rail partnerships and station partnership volunteers has been called the Association of Community Rail Partnerships.
On 6th April 2020 this changed and the new name for the organisation is the Community Rail Network. New logos (see example above) and a new website www.communityrail.org.uk are now in use.
Community Rail Lancashire and the five CRPs across its area are all pleased to be members of the Community Rail Network and have all achieved accreditation through the new process introduced when the new Community Rail Strategy was launched in November 2018.
