Community Rail Awards 2024 Shortlistings

Community Rail Lancashire is very pleased to announce that a number of its projects and others that they are involved in, along with neighbouring CRPs, have been shortlisted for the 2024 Community Rail Awards due to be held in Swansea in March 2024.

 

The successful entries are as follows:

Category 1 – Involving Children & Young People – Community Rail Lancashire & Avanti West Coast – Feel Good Feel Trips

Category 2 – Empowering Diverse Groups – Community Rail Lancashire – East Meets West & South East Lancashire CRP – Stations of Sanctuary

Category 3 – Community Creative Projects & Station Arts (large & medium) – Leeds, Morecambe CRP – Rail & Sail – Heysham Port Developments

Category 5 – Most Effective Communications Campaign – Community Rail Education Network & Bessie Matthews – Arlo’s Adventures: There and Back & Leeds, Morecambe CRP – Destination Wellbeing

Category 7 – Tourism & Leisure Award – Clitheroe Line CRP & Clitheroe Castle – By Train to Clitheroe Castle & South East Lancashire CRP – RHS Bus

Category 8 – Photo Competition: Capturing the essence of community rail – Gerald Townson – All Friends Together & 5*Plus Luxury Hotel Opens Soon

Category 9 – Influencing Positive Change & Sustainability – Community Rail Lancashire – Try The Train & Community Rail Education Network & Cross Country – Travel Green with Daffnee Green

Category 11 – Outstanding Volunteer Contribution – South Fylde Line CRP – Barrie Russell
