For a number of years the Chester Avenue car park, close to Clitheroe railway station and the bus interchange, has offered a free park and ride facility for rail and bus users.

Ribble Valley Borough Council have recently made the decision to remove this free facility and the car park is now pay and display for all of the spaces. The current tariffs apply Monday to Saturday 08:00 – 18:00 and are £1.70 for up to 4 hours and £2.90 for up to 10 hours. The car park is free after 18:00 and on Sundays.
If you use the car park for commuting then there is an annual ticket available that allows parking on all of Ribble Valley Borough Council’s (RBVC) long stay car parks at a cost of £85.
