Northern in partnership with Blackpool Transport – Northern have introduced through ticketing onto Blackpool Transport’s bus and tram network with effect from Sunday 31 July 2022.
Initially this will only be from train to bus/tram. At a later date, some through ticketing will be introduced from bus/tram to train.
The through ticketing will be valid on Blackpool Transport bus and tram network, this includes to Fleetwood – full details of their network can be viewed from the link below:
Through ticketing will be available via Blackpool North or Blackpool South stations on the following ticket types:
+ Anytime Day Single / Off-Peak Day Single – allowing one single journey on a Blackpool Transport bus or tram
+ Anytime Day Return / Off-Peak Day Return – allowing a days unlimited travel on Blackpool Transport’s buses or trams
+ Season tickets – allowing unlimited travel on Blackpool Transport’s buses or trams during the validity period of the season ticket.
Fares
Through fares are calculated by adding the following amounts to the walk-up rail fare to Blackpool North or Blackpool South stations:
Adult:
Single: £2.50
Return (Day only): £5.50
Weekly: £15.50
Child: 50% of adult fare
Railcard discounts are permitted for holders of 16 – 25, 26 – 30, Disabled, Family & Friends, Forces, Senior, Two Together and Veterans Railcards.
