Community Rail Lancashire is pleased to welcome a new team member, Caroline Holden, who joins us today!
Caroline joins us from Lancashire County Council where she has most recently been involved with the Connecting East Lancashire project. She has been closely involved in two projects in partnership with CRL at Brierfield and Ramsgreave & Wilpshire stations (see lets-connect-brierfield-railway-station/ & lets-connect-ramsgreave-wilpshire-railway-station/)
Caroline’s new role as a Community Rail Development Officer (CRDO) will see her working closely with Simon, CRL’s other CRDO and supporting the education team and getting involved with the four CRPs and also with the Friends of Stations groups along the various lines in the CRL area.
Richard Watts, Chair CRL, commented: “I welcome Caroline to the CRL team and look forward to closely working with her. She will bring new and fresh ideas to the team and I look forward to developing with her a range of initiatives across the Lancashire CRPs.”
