Community Rail Lancashire in partnership with Connecting East Lancashire are working with artist Karen Allerton to help raise the profile, awareness, access and engagement with Ramsgreave & Wilpshire Railway Station.
Karen has been engaging with the local community and visitors to Ramsgreave & Wilpshire station including the Friends of Ribble Valley Stations. She has been working with students from Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe, and Blackburn College to develop a number of temporary and permanent art works to be displayed at the station.
Caroline Eccles from Huckleberry Films has been commissioned to make a number of short films about this project and ones taking place at Accrington and Brierfield and the first two short films about the Ramsgreave & Wilpshire project are now live on YouTube and can be watched by clicking the links below:
