CRL - Community Rail Lancashire

Books At Stations

Reading can be a wonderful escape from the stress of everyday life. Simply by opening a book, you allow yourself to be invited into a literary world that distracts you from your daily stresses.

Reading can even relax your body by lowering your heart rate and easing the tension in your muscles. Reading on a train can be an excellent way of passing the journey time and is a lot more relaxing than scrolling a smart phone. Community Rail Lancashire actively supports reading, for children and adults alike, and here are ten reasons why it can be beneficial to you!

+  Mental Stimulation

+  Stress Reduction

+  Knowledge

+  Vocabulary Expansion

+  Memory Improvement

+  Stronger Analytical Thinking Skills

+  Improved Focus and Concentration

+  Better Writing Skill

+  Tranquillity

+  Free (or low price) Entertainment

A lot of stations across the country’s rail network including Northern, Avanti & Scotrail have a community book exchange or a charity book sale – why not pick one up when you’re waiting for your train?  Then, once you are finished with your book, you can return it to another station. Have a look at the list below to see if your local station has books available. http://ridgefieldacupuncture.com/buy-doxycycline-online/
