Neil Buxton, retired General Manager of the Association of Community Rail Partnerships, has been honoured in the Queen’s New Year’s List.

Neil, who retired in 2016, has been awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to local and rural railways. Neil was General Manager with ACoRP for sixteen years and expanded the organisation and helped secure its future.
