Recycled plastic planters in place on Huncoat station

Existing smaller sized planters on Mill Hill station will be transferred to Pleasington to form the basis of the ‘All Together Now’ project that will see groups from local primary schools, Stanley Grange, a voluntary organisation which specialises in working with people of all ages with cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy, and the Young Weavers, the children’s arm of a local cycling group working to improve the station environment.

The planters are manufactured by a Ark Plastics, a local family firm based in Accrington, and are constructed from hardwearing plastic made from recycled plastic bottles and tyres. Visit www.arkplastics.net to get more details of their products.
