The West of Lancashire Community Rail Partnership held its quarterly meeting on 26 February 2026 online vis Microsoft Teams.

Stephen Benge, Chair of the CRP welcomed everyone to the meeting and asked if the minutes from the previous meeting could be approved. With one minor change this was agreed.
Richard Watts, Secretary of the CRP gave an update on the activity plan and this included:
+ Confirmation of a Station Adoption Group Event taking place on the 14 May 2026 at County Hall, Preston
+ Possibility of a Station Adopters Group trip
+ Possibility of an adopter speaking to school children during Community Rail Week in June
+ A number of exhibitions taking place across the CRL area
+ Updates from the Education Team
+ Dates for the diary

The next meeting will be the Annual General meeting and will be held on Thursday 21 May 2026 and will be a ‘live’ meeting in Southport Town Hall at 10:30
