Community Rail Lancashire (CRL) has recently taken on a new member of staff. Beth Nolan has previously worked with CRL as a facilitator with the Try The Train project and joined CRL at the beginning of November.

Beth Nolan
Beth, a proud Prestonian the city she was born and is based in, will be working as a Community Rail Officer in the West of Lancashire area for three days a week. Her work as a facilitator for Try The Train saw her encouraging community groups to explore the railway on trips and build confidence to solo travel. Beth is also a trained actor and still works professionally in theatre alongside her CRL work.
Beth said of her new role: “I am really excited to work with lots of new people and develop projects in the West of Lancashire and Merseyside area. I hope to be able to incorporate my creativity and passion for inclusivity into the role.”
Richard Watts, Chair of CRL said: “Community Rail Lancashire is really pleased to welcome Beth as new member of the staff and looks forward to seeing her develop new and exciting projects in the West Lancashire area.”
