A Railway To Clitheroe

Inspired by the Community Rail Great Get Together, join Peter Eastham for an entertaining and knowledgeable illustrated talk about the Ribble Valley Line.

Take a seat, relax and enjoy the journey along this much-loved historic line from Manchester to Clitheroe. Peter is a retired Company Chairman and Rolling Stock Director of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Heritage Railway Operating Company. Peter is also a founder member and now Chairman of Ribble Valley Rail, a former pressure group for the reintroduction of regular passenger trains which was achieved in 1994. Since then Ribble Valley Rail has been the line’s user group and a member of the management group for the Clitheroe Line Community Rail Partnership.
