Wednesday 24th May 2023 saw communities from across the Calder Valley CRP met at Mytholmroyd to walk along the canal to Hebden Bridge. The group visited Hebden Bridge Town Hall for refreshments and to meet and talk to a range of Friends of Stations groups from along the Calder Valley.

They met Geoff Mitchell from the Friends of Station group at Mytholmroyd and despite a hitch on the day were able to find out more about this station renovation project. Karen Hornby, Community Rail Officer with the Calder valley CRP had arranged for some of the station groups to meet up at Hebden Bridge and to exchange ideas.
